Lead-bearing ore (Lead Sulfide or Galena)

In most zinc-bearing mines, lead ores are also present, among which the most important compound is PbS, or galena, which has also been observed in many boreholes of the Tappeh Margarīs mine. Below is an image showing a sample of lead ore with a galena composition.
